On August 23, 2018, The Greater Jackson Arts Council will present it's second annual CREATIVE IMPACT LUNCHEON featuring Orange Is The New Black author Piper Kerman, who will challenge the audience to lead for change in her riveting keynote. The streaming TV phenomenon based on her bestselling book has been hailed as the best dramatic series about prison ever made. She will speak on building relationships across ideological divides, the resilience of women's communities, the urgent need for criminal justice reform and the transformative power of memoir. The event will be at The Old Capitol Inn. Tickets are $50 and include a special lunch menu created by favorite Jackson Chef Bruce Cain. All money raised from the event will go to The Greater Jackson Arts Council to continue their grants and programming for the arts community in Jackson, Mississippi.
